Tox Murillo

For Murillo, creating beauty from scratch is an art he’s loved from and early age and pursued to make other’s lives brighter.

“I began to get interested in making murals through graffiti artists from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, which is where I grew up,” Murillo said. “Since I started painting, I focused on making murals, which was when I was approximately 15 years old. I stopped for a long time for personal reasons, but I started making murals again in 2019. Since then, I’ve made it my full-time job, and I continue to strive to paint and share my work with more people.”

While Murillo does have the natural gift, he said it’s his family and the feeling of improving a community that inspires him to paint.
